Peanut butter bike

So I purchased a bicycle! The other night (monday) Bethany was looking on ksl to see if there were any new road bicycles and she found one for a fair price and so we went to check it out. We met the guy the next day outside Nordstrom in Murray and i took it for a test ride. It was great. Not like the other bike that i rode that was like 2 grand but it was better than any mountain bike that I had written so we purchased it! This is a picture of it.

I haven't named it yet but i'm taking suggestions. possible the black mamba. The previous owner, who goes to westminster, gave it a bad paint job. It is a Specialized Allez and i'm a fan.

Now here is a picture of what I do at my job.
This peanut butter was taken out of the jar by me. I spread it around and then look at it to see if it has defects in it.

Seriously getting serious

This has been my semester to the extreme! I'm doing well in all of my classes for the first time in my college career and I'm dominating the health thing. To add to my seriousness of being serious I decided it was time for me to become more clean and organized. In order to accomplish this I have become a serious google calender-er. School, work, and even triathlon training are now completely scheduled to allow for maximum efficiency.

Also a dishwasher has joined our midst.

so all in all i'm organized. Any tips on getting further organized?

lastly but not leastly, my bffande (best friend forever and ever) todd hollingworth is on his way to p-tizzle and we are going to get jacked out of our dome. I'm pretty stoked about this nonsense

i'm hungry

Yup. Hungry. I haven't eaten dinner yet but i'm afraid to go into the kitchen. I'm alone and hungry. Worst combo ever. Will I prevail? Can I succeed? yes. i'm going to eat chicken. lemon chicken. with a lemon taste on it.
This is a chicken lemon

So fetching

WELL WELL WELL! I am going to recommend something to everyone out there right now. Get excited! that was the recommendation. Get excited about something in your life because it is the greatest thing you can do. It helps you to become positive and motivated.

example. I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so excited about doing a triathlon. I'm nervous as heck but i haven't been this motivated to work hard in the gym and at eating right in a long long while. That is my advice.

The real reason why I am writing this blog is to talk about our neighbors. They are nice. But i really don't love them, and i'll tell you why. They love music, and think that they are music guru's when in reality all i ever hear is bad techno and the all american rejects coming from their speakers. I know that this is what they listen to because their speakers are conveniently located on the other side of our paper thin bedroom wall. Did i mention that they like to start playing their music at 10 p.m.? did i mention that they really enjoy singing really loudly while they listen to their music? well they like to do both of those things. So today i took a video of the wife singing some all american rejects. i hope you enjoy it.

I am ridiculous

I decided what bike I want. It's going to be hard to save money for it since i'm broke as a joke. but here it is anyway.
It's the Giant Defy 1. I'm pretty stoked. I'm SO stoked that i decided to share it with the world. what do you think?

Holler back girl

on Monday I started to condition for my triathlon training. my number one purpose for this is to start to increase my endurance. I'm getting fairly intense I think. But who really knows. The thing is I know that biking outside and running outside is going to be harder than what i'm doing in the gym. So i'm working twice as hard in the gym as before and starting to work outside. Anyway i'm getting serious about this nonsense. Also my buddy Michael and I went looking at road bikes yesterday. I had no idea how different it would be from a mountain bike. First i tried a Giant Defy 2 which is a lower end beginner bike. It was incredible. You just take off, and it takes like no energy compared to mountain bikes. Then I rode a different mountain bike.
It was something like this. It was on sale for 2 grand. Obviously I was in love but it's too expensive.

This post is boring

The point is i'm having fun. I'm going to start riding a lot more often. Anyone want to go with me?

Goals

So my brother-in-law is a good guy. in response to my post about self control and losing weight he told me about goals. Well i mulled it over. I've got goals in life. I want to have nice teeth, go to the temple, keep in touch with friends, have some children, fulfill my callings. Pretty basic stuff. Well the thing is that I also have a weight loss goal as was discussed previously. the problem with that goal is it's been a life long goal and i'm bad at achieving it. PMG says to make smaller goals to help us achieve our long term goals. So that is what i decided to do. i decided to get intense. i decided to get real. i decided to do a triathlon. yeah for reals.

So that is the plan. I'm starting to train with Bethany and my friend michael.

so root us on!
